If you’re a Mafia Wars boss and you’re not really sure what to do with your energy packs, I understand what you’re going through. When I first started with Mafia Wars it was cool just being a Mafia boss, but really I had no idea what I was doing. I was always getting robbed and snuffed in fights, and I ended up losing tens of millions of my Mafia Wars dollars.

Those days are over now. I started paying attention to how the top Mafia godfathers were actually playing the game. I started following their every move and strategies that they use to stay on top of their rivals, and the millions of other players out there.

I even joined groups and fan pages on Facebook to discover new ways of leveling up quickly. What I discovered was crazy. These guys were using energy packs in ways I had never even thought was possible.

They helped me out with maximizing the benefits of the energy packs I had, and how to make it to the top as a Mafia boss. And I’m now going to help you out with the same problems.

The first thing you need to do is to request energy packs daily. Don’t be put off by asking your family members for energy packs. If you don’t have a loyal enough family to do this, join groups and fan pages on Facebook and request them. Even join forums or message boards around the Internet dedicated to Mafia Wars and you’ll find a ton of people who are requesting items from other members. But an important thing you need to remember about this is that you need to give them something as well. Either give them something first and request an energy pack in return, or get your energy pack from them and ensure you give something back. If you don’t reciprocate, you won’t last long. Do this all the time so that you are getting at least one energy pack a day.

When you do get energy packs, you need to be smart about when to use them. The best time to use your energy packs is when your energy level is about to finish. This way your energy level gets replenished when you really need it with a bonus 25 percent of energy points.

The key to this is to not use your energy packs when you are close to reaching a higher level. When you level up, all your stats will get replenished anyway, so don’t waste it if you’re only a few experience points away. Use them when you have completely run out of energy and are still a long way away from the next level. This means you use your energy packs right when you need them, not just to give yourself an extra boost. You only get one per day remember, so use them wisely.

If you follow these steps with your energy packs, you’ll be way ahead of most of the other players out there who are still just wandering around without really knowing what they’re doing. Now go out and dominate the game.

The Mafia Wars Bangkok expansion is only available to players who have reached level 18 or above. It provides a host of new tasks to complete, different weapons and businesses to invest in.

The gaming style is similar to that of Mafia Wars Moscow, where it is broken down into different episodes with each one ending with a boss battle that will unlock the next episode. One of the major differences though between Bangkok and Moscow is that Bangkok uses a sliding scale that determines the amount of energy that is required to complete a mission, and the payout upon completion, based on the player’s current level.

To get started in Bangkok players must choose a side between the Triads and the Yakuza. In order to gain trust and loyalty within either faction, you must complete a certain amount of missions to build your reputation up. Once you’ve become a trusted member of the group, you will be able to access their exclusive weapons, but if you remain untrusted, or lose your reputation with them, you will lose access to these weapons. Each time you complete a job for a certain faction, you will get 3 respect points for that faction while losing 1 point for the other. You will initially start off at the lowest level of trust with both sides, and need at least 400 respect points to be able to access their weapons. This is based on a six level trust system – Hostile, Suspicious, Neutral, Trusted, Honored, Allied. Once you are at the Neutral stage, you will be able to purchase items from that faction’s store.

There are 5 different Job Mastery rewards you can get once you complete the missions for a certain episode. Episode 1 (Brawler) provides you with Tiger Sak Yant, which is a good piece of armor, Episode 2 (Criminal) gives you a Royal Thai Police Tank, Episode 3 (Pirate) rewards you with a Harpoon Cannon, and Episode 4 (Commandant) has an Armored War Elephant as its reward. The rewards in Episode 5 depends on the faction you are with as they are unique to that faction. But both rewards are great for defense. If you stick with the Yakuza you will be rewarded with a Ronin Armor, while the Triads will provide you with Typhoon Cleavers.

There have been complaints that to buy the items required to complete certain missions costs too much compared to how much you earn with the jobs you complete. You will find that you will have to repeat missions you already completed to make enough money so you can but the items that are needed for another mission. Ultimately you want to have enough money to purchase one of the Bangkok businesses, which will provide you with a nice steady cash flow. Until then, you’re going to have to keep doing those jobs to earn more money.

There are some new and exciting missions to complete in Mafia Wars Bangkok, as well as a host of new items that will look great in your collection.
